Wynn Hamlyn

I adored the knit wear! As an ex Knitter, I loved seeing the complexities that went into making these garments. One of my best friends has an older Wynn Hamlyn knitted top, and the fit is beautiful, and she always looks amazing in it.

Here are my photos of my favourite pieces from the show.

What I Wore Day 3

NZFW_2017 (4 of 8).jpg

The first show of the day was Jimmy D so of course, I wore my favourite Jimmy D pieces. The MAGIC CITY dress James made for my ball and the B*WITCHED crop top! I was so lucky to be able to wear a large lock necklace from Meadowlark. With my classic stacked Docs, a vintage Levi's leather fringed jacket from Trademe, paid like $25 for it.

Hair thanks to Dave Weaver at Stephen Marr

Jimmy D SS18

I have so much love for James and what he does! How he can create a garment that looks amazing on a young person and look equally if not better on an older person of a different body shape. It's very common for mum and me to argue over who gets to wear a Jimmy D piece.

Katia and Maurice Krafft inspired this collection. They were a couple who were volcanologists who died in a pyroclastic flow on Mount Unzen, in Japan, on June 3, 1991.

Here are my favourite pieces from the collection. I'm going to be very broke soon, as I need every garment in this collection, especially the Silver jacket!
